Flash MP3 Players
Okay, so you’ve finally surfed here and who knows how long it took you to do it. You want answers. Read further.
What is MP3?
Think of mp3 as a file format, well, because it is. When you download a song (or audio recording) or a hundred of them, many (and probably most) of the songs will have the MP3 file extensions (in the form of .mp3). The sound quality is great even though the compression of the file is significant.
“Back in the day,” audio and music file sizes were enormous and very clunky to send and receive. Back in the dialup days, you remember them, don’t you? As they say, “the times, they are a-changin’.”
Even though the mp3 format is a legal format, you will still need to check on U.S. copyright laws to make sure you’re able to download, buy, and sell the selected songs and audio recordings. Join the hundreds of thousands of music downloaders on the internet. The prices for flash mp3 players (portable) have gone down greatly over the past few years.
What are flash MP3 players?
Simply put, the flash mp3 player is a very common mp3 player, probably the most common mp3 players. You might have heard the term Portable MP3 Player. Same thing. It doesn’t have any moving parts so it is portable and lightweight. It relies on circuit boards and memory chips inside the MP3 player. Unfortunately, they aren’t able to hold more than 4GB of memory, though that is improving as the demand grows. But at least that should get you started.
Take the flash mp3 player with you jogging, on a long trip, to school, wherever. As long as you get a great set of ear buds, you can’t annoy your folks, and that’s half the battle right there, if you know what I’m saying. You can carry it along wherever because it’s not only lightweight but very resistant to skips.
Another Type of Flash MP3 Player
You should also not that there are two types of flash MP3 players and I should draw a distinction between the two. The flash MP3 player I’ve been discussing above is a tiny piece of hardware that has memory. In contrast to that, flash MP3 players is essentially flash animation for web pages. You’ve seen flash animation before. Have you ever had to click the “Skip Intro” button when you navigate to a site? That was probably flash animation. Flash animation is also small and size and ideal for the internet. That, though, is beyond the scope of this discussion. Used to be Macromedia Flash. Adobe bought them out, now it’s Adobe Flash.
